GTC’s Stay Wavy Ethos Coin is our take on the classic ‘Challenge Coin’. Ours isn’t a standard challenge coin though. We wanted our Ethos Coin to stand on its own two feet, be individualised to the person who owns it, and offer some functions to make it a tool that can be carried daily.

Challenge Coins have been popular within the military and services world for a while now. It’s essentially a lump of metal with the logo and sometimes the motto of a particular unit, department or group. They are used to mark occasions, reward service, show support or as gifts. We want ours to do all this and more!
Our Ethos coin is a little different as it features some things that we feel are missing from our collection of challenge coins we have gathered working around the world. Our biggest issue was sometimes we want to carry a coin every day, like an ‘EDC’ type thing. They can be used as a fidget-type item to calm or centre people. Think of the spinning top in the film ‘Inception’. To allow for this we made a keyring/ lanyard hole in our coin so you can attach it to keys or tie on some paracord. Making it easy to carry every day, also if you are carrying it you might as well use it. We added a bottle opener so that you always have the ability to crack open a cold one, making it useful practically as well. It also makes it the perfect conversation piece in the shed/ garage bar!
